Returns & Refunds Policy (Paintings)
We take great care to ensure every artwork arrives safely and exactly as described. Because original artwork is delicate and each order is prepared and packaged individually, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for “change of mind” returns outside of your statutory rights (explained below).
1) Damaged in transit / delivery issues
If your painting arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

your order number

clear photos of the artwork and packaging (outer box and inner protection)
Where possible we’ll arrange a replacement. If a replacement isn’t available (for one-of-one pieces), we’ll offer a refund or an appropriate resolution. This is in addition to your legal rights for goods that arrive damaged or faulty.
2) Faulty or not as described
If your order is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you’re entitled to a remedy under consumer law (refund, repair, or replacement depending on the circumstances). For original paintings, a replacement may not be possible—so a refund may be offered instead.
3) Online orders: your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
If you purchased through our website as a consumer, you generally have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery (sometimes called a “cooling-off period”).
If you cancel within this period:

You should return the item within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel.

We will process the refund in line with the legal timeframes (typically within 14 days of receiving the item back, or earlier if you provide evidence of return).

We refund the cost of standard delivery (if you chose an upgraded delivery option, we refund up to the standard delivery cost).
Return shipping for cancellations: unless we agree otherwise, customers are responsible for the cost of returning items after cancellation.
4) Bespoke / commissioned / personalised artwork
For commissioned, custom, or personalised paintings, the 14-day cancellation right may not apply where the work is made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable once work has begun, except where the artwork is faulty or not as described.
5) Condition of returns
Where a return is accepted, the artwork must be returned:

in the same condition it was received

with all original packaging and protective materials

securely packed to prevent damage in transit
If an item is returned in a diminished condition, a deduction may be made where the law allows.
6) How to request a return or report an issue

7) Statutory rights
